The Stories folder contains 100 of them and the Novels folder contains 20. Of course, it doesn't mean that they are all good, so much so that I have only selected 9 of the novels, while the stories, except for a few, will be published here. The inspiration: this unknown I don't know anything about inspiration because I don't know what inspiration is; I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. William Faulkner Do you believe in the story of inspiration? It always seemed like a hoax to me. I imagine the same scene every time: the writer in front of the typewriter with his gaze turned upwards, perhaps checking some damp stains on the ceiling, because I don't think there's anything else to look at up there. No ideas have ever come to me that way.

Without reading, no ideas are born I think this is my main source for ideas. Sometimes, as in the case of novels 5 and 6 listed below, they are actually inspired by my readings, but most of the others, fortunately, are perhaps a word, a situation read, not even Phone Number Data important - as in novel number 7 - which gives birth to the idea. In this list I have tried to reconstruct how those ideas were born. IC, the historical-fantasy novel: an idea born by combining two words, a verb and a drink. So what?, you might say. From my passion for stories about the Italian-American mafia of the 1920s and 1930s. PG, the drama-fantasy novel for children: the idea was born while looking at a gas mask from the Second World War, but the story has nothing to do with the war. The protagonist child wears it because he needs it in the world he must go to. M., fantasy for kids: the idea has been around for twenty years. I've always liked dusty attics. And the old trunks too. S. and R., adventure for kids: I said it, it's a story more or less along the lines of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. But we are in Italy. C., fantasy for kids, like Harry Potter: I don't even remember how it came to me, but not by reading Harry Potter, because it's a recent idea.
